CITIZEN MUSICIAN 

Citizen Musician is the immigrant musician who carries cultural references of his origin country and uses them as tools of insertion in a new society. Understanding music as a universal language the project creates an artist community that has as citizenship practice the music itself.

Idealized by Leo Bianchini, the Citizen Musician project is developed in the cities of São Paulo and Berlin, bringing together musicians from the four corners of the world to create an environment of cultural exchange through concerts, festivals, workshops and panel talks.

In 4 years the project has performed in cultural spaces such as SESC, Itaú Cultural, Mario de Andrade Library, Impact Hub, Al Janiah, Hangar 49 and ZKU (Berlin) and has partnered with institutions such as UNHCR - The UN Refugee Agency, São Paulo State Immigration Museum, Migraflix and Beat-Etage (Berlin).
